Ground Breaking Nagpur
Casper visited the sites in India where the Mobile Waste Plant and the Nagpur facility will be built. The groundbreaking of these plots was ceremoniously celebrated with all local persons involved. Casper even had the opportunity to take part in this ceremony and afterwards planted a tree on the site on behalf of the “heart of the facility”, being WTT as the technology provider.
Indian minister of infrastructure
Afterwards we had breakfast with a select group of 15 people at the house of the Indian minister of infrastructure, mr. Nitin Gadkari, who is personally involved in the project and is one of the biggest sponsors. All in all, this was a fantastic start of WTT’s Indian journey.
Trade Mission India
The RVO organized a trade mission to India regarding waste management and circular waste solutions. On behalf of WTT, Casper visited Mumbai and New Delhi together with our license partner SusBDe and 8 other Dutch companies.
Part of the program was the IFAT India exhibition, which was a great success: the Indian waste business seems to be booming!
The first step in the Indian Market
Currently only low-tech solutions and wet AD are present in the country, so the enormous amount of attention was understandable and really interesting.
