Vacancy Financial Controller

At WTT, we build high-tech installations all over the world to process organic waste.

Your Role

As Financial Controller you have a versatile and responsible position. You will be responsible for, among other things:

  • The monthly closing and overseeing project reporting and registrations.
  • Preparing the cash-flow forecast and informing project leaders about invoicing.
  • Handling tax, ICP and CBS returns.
  • Checking the project reports of project managers.
  • Producing ad-hoc analyses and financial reports.
  • Possibly taking on payroll administration as well.

In addition, we have several projects that can be handled independently, such as:

  • Post-calculations for service assignments.
  • Improving insight into the reliability of estimates and forecasts.
  • Further automation of, among other things, VAT processes.

You will join a compact and driven finance team of three people: you as Financial Controller, a financial employee, and the Manager Finance. You will also work closely with project managers, procurement and HR.

What do we expect from you?

  • A completed higher professional education (HBO) in business economics, accountancy or SPD.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and a precise working method.
  • Good command of the Dutch language.
  • You work independently but also enjoy collaboration.
  • You are analytical, efficient and communicative, and you support colleagues and departments with your financial knowledge.

Wij bouwen wereldwijd hightech installaties voor de verwerking van organisch afval

Jouw rol

Als Financial Controller heb je een veelzijdige en verantwoordelijke functie. Je bent onder andere verantwoordelijk voor:

  • De maandafsluiting en toezicht op projectrapportages en -registraties.
  • Het opstellen de cashflowforecast en informeren van projectleiders over facturatie.
  • Het verzorgen van belasting-, ICP- en CBS-aangiftes.
  • Het controleren van de projectrapportages van projectmanagers.
  • Het maken van ad-hoc analyses en financiële rapportages.
  • En mogelijk neem je ook de salarisadministratie onder je hoede.

Daarnaast hebben we nog enkele projecten welke zelfstandig opgepakt kunnen worden, zoals:

  • Nacalculaties bij serviceopdrachten;
  • Het verbeteren van inzicht in de betrouwbaarheid van schattingen en prognoses;
  • Verdere automatisering van o.a. de BTW processen.

Je komt terecht in een compact en gedreven financieel team van drie personen: jij als Financial Controller, een financieel medewerker en de Manager Finance. Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met projectmanagers, inkoop en HR.

Wat breng jij mee?

  • Een afgeronde hbo-opleiding in bedrijfseconomie, accountancy of SPD;
  • Minimaal 3 jaar relevante werkervaring (pré);
  • Analytisch vermogen en een nauwkeurige werkwijze;
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, maar ook graag samen.
  • Je bent analytisch, efficiënt en communicatief sterk, en je ondersteunt collega’s en afdelingen met jouw financiële kennis.
